Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-90 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted on May 9, 1983, a report has been prepared by Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson ASsociates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of the following streets: a) 152nd Avenue N.W. between the line of Ramsey Blvd. N.W. (County Road #56) and east to its end at the cul de sac b) 153rd Avenue N.W. between the line of Ramsey Blvd. N.W. (County Road #56) and Jaspar Street N.W. c) Jaspar Street N.W. between the line of 151st Avenue N.W. and 153rd Avenue N.W. d) Hematite Street N.W. between the line of 152nd Avenue N.W. and 154th Lane N.W. and this report was received by the Ramsey City Council on May 31, 1983. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting prop- erty for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $83,000.00. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improve- ment on the 14th day of June, 1983 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center at 9:00 P.M. and the City Administrator/Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann and the following members voted against the same: None Page 1 of 2
