Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-90 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted <br />on May 9, 1983, a report has been prepared by Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson <br />Anderson ASsociates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of the following <br />streets: <br /> <br />a) 152nd Avenue N.W. between the line of Ramsey Blvd. <br />N.W. (County Road #56) and east to its end at the cul <br />de sac <br /> <br />b) 153rd Avenue N.W. between the line of Ramsey Blvd. <br />N.W. (County Road #56) and Jaspar Street N.W. <br /> <br />c) Jaspar Street N.W. between the line of 151st Avenue <br />N.W. and 153rd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />d) Hematite Street N.W. between the line of 152nd Avenue <br />N.W. and 154th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />and this report was received by the Ramsey City Council on May 31, 1983. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvement of <br />such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting prop- <br />erty for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statutes Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of <br />$83,000.00. <br /> <br /> 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improve- <br />ment on the 14th day of June, 1983 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey <br />Municipal Center at 9:00 P.M. and the City Administrator/Clerk shall give <br />mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by <br />law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and <br />Reimann <br /> <br />and the following members voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
