Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~83-91 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING ADVANCE ENCUMBRANCE OF 1984 MSA FUNDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has submitted to the Commissioner <br />of Transportation the plans and specifications for the improvement of 155th <br />Avenue N.W. from County Road No. 56 to Variolite Street and Variolite Street <br />N.W. from 155th Avenue N.W. to 161st Avenue N.W. (S.A.P. 199-101-06 and <br />S.A.P. 199-107-01); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State Aid Engineer approved those plans on March 1, <br /> <br />1983; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the state-aid funds will be requested for the improve- <br />ment of said street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer's estimated on the project costs <br />based on bids received exceeds the City's current unencumbered MSAS con- <br />struction fund balance. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> That the said City of Ramsey requests advance encumbrance of <br />1984 MSAS funds to cover the additional cost of the improvement project. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter <br />and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following members voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 31st day of May, 1983. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> t of the ve <br /> <br /> <br />
