Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-104 RESOLUTION DELETING SEALCOATING IMPROVR~[ENT PROJECT #83-9 (GREENLAND HILLS PLAT #2) WHEREAS, a resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted the 26th day of April, 1983, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed sealcoating improvement of the following streets: a) 151st Lane N.W. between the line of Chameleon Street N.W. and Alpaca Street N.W. b) 152nd Lane N.W. between the line of County Road #83 (Armstrong Blvd. N.W.) to the east plat boundary of Greenland Hills Plat #2. c) Chameleon Street N.W. between the line of 151st Lane N.W. and 152nd Lane N.W. d) Alpaca Street N.W. from 151st Lane N.W. north to its end at the cul de sac. WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 14th day of June, 1983, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an oppor- tunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, at the public hearing it was noted the street was con- structed less than five (5) years ago and the City's policy is to sealcoat streets five (5) years and older. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby deletes the Greenland Hills Plat #2 from the sealcoating projects of 1983 due to the fact the streets in this plat were constructed less than five (5) years ago and said deletion will be keeping in the City's policy to sealcoat streets five (5) years and older. The motion for the adption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor therof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schluetsr, and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None Page 1 of 2
