Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-106 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DELETING SEALCOATING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #83-11 (MENKVELDS <br />UNPLATTED) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted the <br />26th day of April, 1983, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed <br />sealcoating improvement of the following streets: <br /> <br />a) 162nd Avenue N.W. between the line of Azurite Street <br />N.W. and Yttrium Street N.W. <br /> <br />b) 164th Lane N.W. between the line of Azurite Street <br />N.W. and Yttrima Street N.W. <br /> <br />c) 166th Lane N.W. between the line of Zirconium Street <br />N.W. and Yttrium Street N.W. <br /> <br />d) Azurite Street N.W. between the line of Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W. (County Road #5) and 164th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />e) Zirconium Street N.W. between the line of 162nd Avenue <br />N.W. and 166th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />f) Yttrium Street N.W. between the line of 162nd Avenue <br />N.W. and 167th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br /> WHERFAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice <br />of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 14th day <br />of June, 1983, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an oppor- <br />tunity to e heard thereon; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the public hearing it was noted the street was con- <br />structed less than five (5) years ago and the City's policy is to sealcoat <br />streets five (5) years and older. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby deletes the Menkvelds <br />Unplatted area from the sealcoating projects of 1983 due to the fact the <br />streets in this section were constructed less than five (5) years ago and <br />said deletion will be keeping in the City's policy to sealcoat streets five <br />(5) years and older. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- <br />ing voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
