Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-108 RESOLUTION DELETING SEALCOATING IMPROV~ENT PROJECT #83-13 (161st & Llama Street N.W.) WHEREAS, a resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted the 26th day of April, 1983, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed sealcoating improvement of the following streets: a) 161st Avenue N.W. between the line of County Road #83 (Armstrong Blvd. N.W.) and Llama Street N.W. b) Llama Street N.W. between the line of 161st Avenue N.W. and 163rd Avenue N.W. WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 14th day of June, 1983, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, at the public hearing it was noted the street was constructed less than five (5) years ago and the City's policy is to seal- coat streets five (5) years and older. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PJ~SEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby deletes 161st and Llama Street N.W. from the sealcoating projects of 1983 due to the fact the streets were constructed less than five (5) years ago and said deletion will be keeping in the City's policy to sealcoat streets five (5) years and older. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow- ing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of June, 1983.
