Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-111b <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DELETING SEALCOATING IMPROV~ENT PROJECT #83-3 (WHISPERING <br />PINES EStaTES PLAT #4) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution of the Ramsey City Council adopted <br />the 26th day of April, 1983, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the <br />proposed sealcoating improvement of the following streets: <br /> <br />a) 154th Lane N.W. between the line of County Road <br />#83 (Armstrong Blvd. N.W.) and the west plat boundary <br />of Whispering Pines Estates Plat #4. <br /> <br />b) 154th Avenue N.W. between the line of Eland Street <br />N.W. and the west plat boundary of ~hispering Pines <br />Estates Plat #4. <br /> <br />c) 153rd Lane N.W. between the line of Eland Street <br />N.W. and the west plat boundary of Whispering Pines <br />Estates Plat #4. <br /> <br />d) Eland Street N.W. between the line of 153rd Lane <br />N.W. and 154th Lane N.W. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published <br />notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on <br />the 14th day of June, 1983, at which all persons desiring to be heard <br />were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the special Council meeting it was noted the <br />street was constructed less than five (5) years ago and the City's policy <br />is to sealcoat streets five (5) years and older. <br /> <br />NOW TttEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby deletes the Whisper- <br />ing Pines Estates Plat #4 from the sealcoating projects of 1983 due to the <br />fact the streets in this plat were constructed less than five (5) years <br />ago and said deletion will be keeping in the City's policy to sealcoat <br />streets five (5) years and older. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter <br />and Reimann <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
