6) #83-14 - Flintwood Hills <br /> <br />a) 140th Lane N.W. between the line of Germanium Street <br />N.W. and Fluorine Street N.W. <br /> <br />b) 142nd Avenue N.W. between the west plat boundary of <br />Flintwood Hills and east to its end at the cul de sac <br /> <br />c) Germanium Street N.W. between the line of County <br />Road No. 116 (Industry Avenue N.W.) to 142nd Avenue <br />N.W. <br /> <br />d) Fluorine Street N.W. between 140th Lane N.W. north <br />to its end at the cul de sac <br /> <br />bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following <br />bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> <br />Contractor Total Bid <br /> <br />1) Allied Blacktop Company <br /> <br />$41,679.70 <br /> <br />2) Buffalo Bituminous <br /> <br />$42,943.50 <br /> <br />3) Midwest Paving & Recycling $48,199.60 <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that Allied Blacktop Company is the <br />lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCILt CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk are hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into a contract with Allied Blacktop Company in the <br />name of the City of Ramsey for the sealcoating improvement of the projects · <br />listed above according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by <br />the Ramsey City Council and on file in the office of the City Administrator/ <br />Clerk. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br />to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except <br />that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall <br />be retained until a contract has been signed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Page 3 of 4 <br />Resolution #83-116 <br /> <br /> <br />
