Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-137 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- <br />POSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the sealcoating improve- <br />ment of the following streets: <br /> <br />a) 169th Lane N.W. between its beginning at the west <br />Section line of Section 11 to Sodium Street N.W. <br /> <br />b) 168th Lane N.W. between the line of Radium Street <br />N.W. and the St. Francis Blvd. service road. <br /> <br />c) 168th Avenue N.W. between the line of Quicksilver <br />Street N.W. and the St. Francis Blvd. service road. <br /> <br />d) Sodium Street N.W. between the line of 167th Avenue <br />N.W. and 169th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />e) Radium Street N.W. between the line of 167th Avenue <br />N.W. and 168th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />f) Quicksilver Street N.W. between the line of 167th <br />Avenue and 168th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />g) St. Francis Blvd. service road between the line of <br />168th Avenue N.W. and 168th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $7,727.71 and the expenses <br />incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to <br />$1,159.16 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $8,886.87. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: ~ <br /> <br /> 1) That the portion of the cost of such improvement to be <br />paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ -- and the portion of the <br />cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be <br />$ 8,886.87. <br /> <br /> 2) The city Administrator/Clerk with the assistance of City <br />Engineer Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. shall forth- <br />with calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improve- <br />ment against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the dis- <br />trict affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and <br />he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public <br />inspection. <br /> <br /> 3) The City Administrator/Clerk shall upon the completion of <br />such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. <br /> <br />Resolution #83-137 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
