Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption; <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-139 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- <br />POSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the sealcoating improve- <br />ment of the following streets: <br /> <br />a) 163rd Avenue N.W. between the line of Okapi Street <br />N.W. and the east plat boundary of Woodlawn Estates <br /> <br />b) 164th Circle between the line of Marmoset Street N.W. <br />west to its end at the cul de sac <br /> <br />c) 164th Avenue N.W. between the line of Okapi Street <br />N.W. and the west plat boundary of Woodlawn Estates <br /> <br />d) 164th Lane N.W. between the line of Okapi Street N.W. <br />and Marmoset Street N.W. <br /> <br />e) Marmoset Street N.W. between the line of 163rd Avenue <br />N.W. and the north plat boundary of Woodlawn Estates <br /> <br />f) Okapi Street N.W. between the line of 163rd Avenue <br />NoW. and 164th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $ 6,489.88 and the expenses <br />incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to <br />$973.48 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $7,463.36. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY~ <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the portion of the cost of such improvement to be <br />paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ -.- and the portion of the <br />cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be <br />$7,463.36. <br /> <br /> 2). The City Administrator/Clerk with the assistance of City <br />Engineer Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. shall forth- <br />with calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improve~ <br />ment against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the dis~ <br />trict affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and <br />he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public <br />inspection. <br /> <br /> 3) The City Administrator/Clerk shall upon the completion of <br />such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof, <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmen%bers Sorteberg, Van Wagner, Schlueter and <br />Reimann <br /> <br />Resolution ~83-139 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
