Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-142 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PRO- <br />POSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the sealcoating improve- <br />ment of the following streets: <br /> <br />a) 140th Lane N.Wo between the line of Germanium Street <br />N.W. and Fluorine Street N.W. <br /> <br />b) 142nd Avenue N.W. between the west plat boundary of <br />Flintwood Hills and east to its end at the cul de sac <br /> <br />c) Germanium Street N.W. between the line of County Road <br />No. 116 (Industry Avenue N.W.) to 142nd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />d) Fluorine Street N.W. between 140th Lane N.W. north to <br />its end at the cul de sac <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $6,860.17 and the expenses <br />incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to <br />$1,240.39 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $7,889.19 <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the portion of the cost of such improvement to be <br />paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ -- and the portion of the <br />cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be <br />$ 7,889.19. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk with the assistance of City <br />Engineer Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates. Inc. shall forth- <br />with calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improve- <br />ment against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the dis- <br />trict affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and <br />he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public <br />inspection. <br /> <br /> 3) The City Administrator/Clerk shall upon the completion of <br />such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Van Wagner, Schlueter and <br />Reimann <br /> <br />Resolution #83-142 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
