Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-145 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a resolution passed by the Ramsey City Council on <br />August 23, 1983, the City Administrator/Clerk was directed to prepare a <br />proposed assessment of the cost of the following streets improved by seal- <br />coating: <br /> <br />a) 169th Lane N.W. between its beginning at the west <br />Section line of Section 11 to Sodium Street N.W. <br /> <br />b) 168th Lane N.W. between the line of Radium Street <br />N.W. and the St. Francis Blvd. service road. <br /> <br />c) 168th Avenue N.W. between the line of Quicksilver <br />Street N.W. and the St. Francis Blvd. service road. <br /> <br />d) Sodium Street N.W. between the line of 167th Avenue <br />N.W. and 169th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />e) Radium Street N.W. between the line of 167th Avenue <br />N.W. and 168th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />f) Quicksilver Street N.W. between the line of 167th <br />Avenue N.W. and 168th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />g) St. Francis Blvd. service road between the line of <br />168th Avenue N.W. and 168th Lane N.W. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City Administrator/Clerk has notified the <br />Ramsey City Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and <br />filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 13th day of September, <br />1983, in the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 P.M. to pass upon such pro- <br />posed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property <br />affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard <br />with reference to such assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby directed to cause <br />a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once <br />in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and <br />he shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall <br />also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described <br />in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. <br /> <br /> <br />
