Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #83-161 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT (#83-15 BEAUDRY'S 2ND AND UNPLATTED) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required <br />by law, the Ramsey City Council has met and heard and passed upon all <br />objections to the proposed assessment for the improvement of the follow- <br />ing streets: <br /> <br />a) 152nd Avenue N.W. between the line of Ramsey Blvd. <br />N.W. (County Road #56) and east to its end at the cul <br />de sac <br /> <br />b) 153rd Avenue N.W. between the line of Ramsey Blvd. <br />N.W. (County Road #56) and J~spar Street N.W. <br /> <br />c) Jaspar Street N.W. between the line of 151st Avenue <br />N.W. and 153rd Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />d) Hematite Street N.W. between the line of 152nd Avenue <br />N.W. north to include Parcels 4500 and 4200 of Plat 89222 <br />(PIN #22-32-25-24-0009 and 22-32-25-24-0001) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute <br />the special assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract <br />of land therein included in hereby found to be benefited by the pro- <br />posed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. <br /> <br /> 2) Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual install- <br />ments extending over a period of ten years, the first of the install- <br />ments to be payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1984 and <br />shall bear interest at the rate of 10.50 per cent annum from the date of <br />the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first installment <br />shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the date of this <br />resolution until December 31, .1994. To each subsequent installment when <br />due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br /> 3) The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time <br />prior to certification of the assessment to the county auditor, pay the <br />whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the <br />date of payment, to the city treasurer, except that no interest shall <br />be charged if the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the <br />adoption of this resolution; and he may, at any time thereafter, pay <br />to the city treasurer the entire amount of the assessment remaining <br />unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
