Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~83-181 RESOLUTION APPROVING 1983 TAX LEVY COLLECTABLE IN 1984 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be levied for the current year (collectable in 1984) upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following purposes: GENERAL LE~Y 1) General Fund 2) Parks and Recreation Fund $741,354 49,777 TOTAL LEVY SUBJECT TO LEVY LIMITATION $791,131 SPECIAL LEVY 1) General 0bligation Improvement Bonds of 1979/City Share 2) General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1982/City Share 3) General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1983/City Share 4) Public Officials' Liability Insurance 5) Increased Industrial and Commercial Development 6) General Fund Tax Abatements During 1982 7) Parks and Recreation Fund Tax Abatements During 1982 8) General Fund Unfunded PERA 9) Parks and Recreation Unfunded PERA 10) Shade Tree Disease Control $ 9,360 1,805 1,500 2,100 10,184 4,618 353 4,270 295 1,775 TOTAL LEVIES NOT SUBJECT TO LEV~ LIMITATION $ 36,260 TOTAL LE~Y $827,391 The City Administrator is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the County Auditor, Anoka County, State of Minnesota. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of September, 1983.
