Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~83-184 W~EREAS, the City Administrator and Chief of Police recommended that Mrs. Arlene Stafford be promoted from the position of Clerical IV to the position of Clerical V which would commensurate with the responsibilities of her job in the Ramsey Police Department. This recommendation was made to the Ramsey Council Personnel Committee on September 7, 1983; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council Personnel Committee at their regular meeting on September 7, 1983 did recommend that Mrs. Arlene Stafford be promoted from the position of Clerical IV to Clerical V to commensurate with the responsibilities of her job in the Ramsey Police Department. NOW THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Mrs. Arlene Stafford is hereby promoted from the position of Clerical IV to the position of Clerical V. The effective date of this promotion is January 1, 1984. Please refer to Council Resolution #83-186 dated September 27, 1983 for the rate of salary. 2) Copies of this resolution shall be furnished as indicated below: a) One copy to Mrs. Arlene Stafford for personal records. b) One copy to the City Accounting Department for their records. c) One copy to Mrs. Arlene Stafford's personnel file. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Schlueter, Reimann and Van Wagner and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of September, 1983.
