Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ~83- 197 <br /> <br /> WgEREAS, the City of Ramsey upgraded 161st Avenue NW between <br />Armstrong Blvd. NW and Variolite Street NW in 1979; and <br /> <br /> WBEREA~, a majority of the costs for upgrading 161st Avenue NW <br />were assessed to the benefited property owners; and <br /> <br /> WBEI{EA~, the Federal Cartridge Corporation owned the property on <br />the north side of 161st Avenue NW and was assessed as a benefited property <br />owner; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Federal Cartridge Corporation has donated Parcel 3600 <br />and the west 185 feet of Parcel 4200 to the City of Ramsey for development <br />as Central Park. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TBE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The remaining assessments on Parcel 3600 in the amount of <br />$4,122.50 shall be paid by the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br /> 2) The remaining assessments for the west 185 feet of Parcel 4200 <br />in the amount of $571.33 shall be paid by the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Van Wagner, Schlueter and Reimann <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 25th day of October, 1983. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
