Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #83-205 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO HARDRIVES, INC. WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council, City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #83-124 awarding the bid for Street Improvement Project #83-15 to Hardrlves, Inc. on July 26, 1983 in the amount of $66,191.00; and WHEREAS, Hardrives, Inc. requested payment for the project in asmuch as it was complete; and WHEREAS, upon inspection of the project the City Engineer noted some areas that were in bad shape and needed correction; and WHEREAS, Hardrives, Inc. has agreed to correct the problems in the Spring of 1984. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby approves payment 'to Hardrives, Inc. in the amount of $56,662.00. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby retains $5,000 to assure the corrections are made as needed. 3) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Schlueter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None and the following member was absent: Councilmember Sorteberg whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of November, 1983.
