Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION %84-14 WHEREAS, Council Resolution #84-3 dated January 24, 1984 received the following computer system bids (hardware and software) and directed City Staff and the City's consultant to negotiate with the apparent low bidder and present said agreement to the City Council on or before March 9, 1984 for acceptance: Vendor Hardware Bid Software Bid Total Bid Computo Services, Inc. $58,115.00 $52,870.00 $110,985.00 Planning Data Center $66,720.00 $58,450.00 $125,170.00 Tele-Terminals $48,933.00 $36,200.00 $85,133.00 Xerox $135,378.00 $148,600.00 $283,978.00 MaSys $11,330.00 $11,850.00 $23,180.00 AND WHEREAS, Council Resolution 984-13 states that the software bid for MaSys would be accepted under a separate resolution; and WHEREAS, the MaSys software bid was the only bid received that was compatible to the Tele-Terminals hardware and the State of Minnesota equipment. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA OOUNT~, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The software bid submitted by MaSys in the amount of $11,850.00 is hereby accepted as the bid that will be compatible to City equipment and State equipment. 2) Please refer to enclosure (1) of Resolution #84-14 for additional information on bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Schlueter, Sorteberg and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day of Februa~, 1984.
