Councilmember VanWagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~84-47 ' RESOLUTION RECEMNG REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT (OLD COUNTY ROAD NO. WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the City Council adopted February 28, 1984, a report has been prepared by Mr. Peter R. Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates with reference to the improvement of the following streets by sealcoating: County State Aid Highway No. 5 service road between the line of County State Aid Highway No. 5 on the southeast and County State Aid Highway No. 5 on the northwest. and this report was received by the Ramsey City Council on February 28, 1984. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY .THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows.' 1) The Ramsey City Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 4Z9 at an estimated cost of the improvement of $1,9ZZ.00. Z) A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 17th day of April, 1984 at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator/Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Sorteberg, Van Wagner and Schlueter and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the Z7th day of March, 1984.
