Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION %84-60 WHEREAS, the Council, in reviewing their 1984 Park Budget, recognized that there had to be budget changes made to the midyear 1984 budget ~justments in vim ~ the f~lowing: 1) Central Park improvement (well and irrigation) that was scheduled for 1983 but was not done due to the fact that the bids came in too high. 2) Other Central Park improvements that were not done because the well project was not done. AND WHEREAS, the Revenue Sharing Funds in the amount of $49,000 which were budgeted for in the 1983 Park Budget for the well and irrigation project were still available; and WHEREAS, favorable bids have been received for well and irrigation systems at Central Park; and WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission has urged the Council to complete this project inasmuch as the 1983 revenues are still available. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNT~, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) It is hereby directed that the Park Budget be amended to reflect the following changes and that this amendment be accomplished when the mid-year budget adjustments are accompl i shed: a) Add irrigation and well project at Central Park - $57,050 b) Safety fences - $770 c) Backstop - $800 d) Creative play equipment - $2,100 e) Underground service - $410 2) A copy of this resolution is to be furnished to the Accounting Department. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Schlueter, Reimann and Sor teberg and the following voted against the same: None
