Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION ~84-77 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted the following resolution approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: Resolution ~84-37 adopted February Z8, 1984 for well and irrigation system installation in Central Park; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #84-59 awarding the bid to First Impressions Contracting for the construction of Proposal II; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc., recommended partial payment in his letter dated April 24, 1984 for First Impressions Contracting in the amount of $19,60Z.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes partial payment to First Impressions as per the City Engineer's letter dated April 24, 1984 for Proposal II in the amount of $19,60Z.00. Z) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #84-78 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on April 24, 1984 approving payment of the bills for the month of April. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Van Wagner, Schlueter and Sorteberg and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the Z4th day of April, 1984. ~ayor ATTEST: Ci t'~r A. d4i~inist~afo'r/Cferk
