Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-84 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey is conside ring the <br />development of Flintwood Hills, 2nd Addition; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the pro posed development consists of 180 <br />single family units and 2 commercial units; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, under the rules of the Minnesota Environmental <br />Quality Board Environmental Review Program a residential <br />development with 100 or more unattached units in a 3rd or 4th <br />class city is required to go through a mandatory EAW process; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the 30 day review and comment period for the <br />EAW ended on April 11, 1984; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, according to 6 MCAR3.028 B.l.a., a decision on <br />the need for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is to be <br />made by the City at its first meeting ten or more days after the <br />comment period expiration date and in no case more than 30 <br />calendar days afterwards; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed Findings of Fact were presented <br />to the City Councilmembers for their review on April 24, 1984; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 24, 1984 final action on the said <br />Findings was tabled in order to enable the Council to review the <br />proposed Findings; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a copy of the proposed Findings was made <br />available to members of the public on April 24, 1984 and <br />thereafter a copy has been on file in the office of the City <br />Administrator. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City of Ramsey approves the Findings of <br />Fact which conclude that the proposed Flintwood Hills Second <br />Addition development does not have the potential for significant <br />environmental effects. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City of Ramsey authorizes the Mayor to <br />sign the Findings of Fact. <br /> <br /> 3) That the City of Ramsey directs City Staff to <br />forward a copy of the Findings of Fact and notice of devision on <br /> Resolution #84-84 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
