EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~_AMSEY <br /> COUNTY OF ANOKA, MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall in the <br />City of Ramsey, on Thursday, May 24, 1984, commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br /> The following members were present: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlue~er and <br /> Re ima n n <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> None <br /> <br /> Councilmember Van Wagner <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE NEGOTIATION OF <br />THE SALE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION EQUIPMENT <br /> CERTIFICATES OF INDEBTEDNESS AND <br /> GENERAL OBLIGATION IMPROV~4ENT BONDS <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED By the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka County, <br /> <br />Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The City is authorized by the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, <br />Section 412.301 to issue and sell its Equipment Certificates of Indebtedness for <br />the acquisition of various items of capital equipment. It is determined to be <br />necessary and desirable to utilize provisions of that section of the law. <br /> <br /> 2. The City is authorized by the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429 to issue and sell its General Obligation Improvement Bonds to <br />finance in whole or in part the costs of various assessable public improvements <br />in the City. The City has duly ordered various improvement projects and deter- <br />mines that it is necessary to utilize the provisions of that action. <br /> <br /> 3. The City is further authorized by Minnesota Statutes, Section 475°60, <br />Subd. 2(2) to directly negotiate the sale of its obligations in an amount not to <br />exceed $300,000 during any three month period.
