Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-108 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR <br />BIDS (Municipal Well #1 #84-13) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Ramsey City <br />Council on March 12, 1984, City Engineer Peter R. Raatikka of Hakanson <br />Anderson Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the <br />construction of Water System Improvement Project #84-13 Municipal Well~#1 <br />and has presented such plans and specifications to the Ramsey City Council <br />for their approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk shall prepare and cause to be <br />inserted in the official paper (Anoka Union) and in the Construction Bulletin <br />an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such <br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for <br />ten days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be <br />received by the City Administrator/Clerk until 11:00 A.M. on July 10, 1984 <br />at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center by the City Administrator/Clerk and City Engineer, <br />will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the Ramsey City Council <br />at 7:30 P.M. on July 10, 1984, in the Council Chambers, and that no bids <br />will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Administrator/ <br />Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or ~ <br />certified check payable to the clerk for five percent (5% of the amount of <br />such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Coun¢ilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and <br />Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 12th day of June, 1984. <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~? j /~! ~ .. ~ Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
