Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-114 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE RATES FOR STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT CHARGES IN <br />DRAINAGE DISTRICT FORTY-THREE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey completed a Comprehensive Storm <br />Drainage Plan in February, 1980; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the plan as per Ordinance <br />#80-5; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared a feasibility study on <br />Drainage District Forty-Three; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based on utilizing more wetlands for ponding the improve- <br />ment costs for District Forty-Three were found to be less than initially esti- <br />mated in the Comprehensive Storm Drainage Plan. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE RAMSEY CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the trunk storm drainage improvement charges for District <br />Forty-Three shall be: <br /> <br />a) Single and two family lots, $O.018 per square foot of <br />gross development area. <br /> <br />b) Multiple family, mobile home, commercial, industrial, <br />and institutional development, $0.029 per square foot of <br />gross development area. <br /> <br /> 2) That the rates in this resolution were based on the May 31, <br /> 1984 Engineering News Record construction cost index of 4160. The rates will <br /> automatically increase with inflation as the construction cost index rises. <br /> <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br /> in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Sorteberg and Schlueter <br /> <br /> and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> and the following member was absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Van Wagner <br /> <br /> whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br /> City Council this the 26th day of June, 1984. <br /> <br /> ATTEST :~/~>~ ~:~/~//?~ 7 ~ Mayor <br /> <br />~Cityynis ator/Clerk -- ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
