Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-117 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRING OF A PART TIME EMPLOYEE TO WORK WITH THE <br />TREE INSPECTOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Bruce Bacon, City Tree Inspector, has requested that <br />the City of Ramsey hire a part time employee to assist him for a period of 10 <br />to 20 hours in conducting a diseased tree survey in the City of Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Bruce Bacon, City Tree Inspector, has requested that <br />the City of Ramsey provide him with the following equipment: <br /> <br />a) Metered telephone service <br />b) Telephone recorder <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the adjusted 1984 City Budget provides for the additional <br />cost items. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the hiring of <br />Mr. Robert Richard Reiners for a period of 10 to 20 hours at the hourly rate <br />of $3.35 for the purpose of assisting the tree inspector in conducting the <br />diseased tree survey. <br /> <br /> 2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves of installing a <br />metered telephone at the tree inspector's home for a period of six to ~ight <br />months per year. Further, this request must be approved by Council each year. <br /> <br /> 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves of purchasing a <br />phone recorder for the tree inspector to use with the City phone. <br /> <br /> 4) That it is further requested that a copy of this resolution <br />be furnished to the City Accountant. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Reimann, Sorteberg and Schlueter <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following member was absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Van Wagner <br /> <br />Resolution #84-117 <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
