Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #84-119 RESOLUTION APPROVING FENCING AROUND PUMP ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AT CENTRAL PARK WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the City's Public Works Superintendent and the City Engineer that fencing be provided around pump electrical equipment at Central Park to protect equipment from vandalism; and WHEREAS, the cost of providing fencing around the pump electrical equipment was not provided for in the Central Park well and irrigation project costs; and WHEREAS, the City Charter requires the City Council to amend the budget where a major item is not budgeted. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes the construction of a barrier safety fence around the pump electrical system at Central Park. 2) That the City Council hereby approves of Budget Amendment #4 to the 1984 City Budget Park Fund 215, Activity 2150, Line Item 1512 in the amount of $650.00. 3) That it is directed the City Accounting Department be furnished a copy of this and take appropriate action. 4) That it is further directed that the Public Works Superintendent be furnished a copy to assure that said fence is installed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the lOth day of July, 1984.
