Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-119 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FENCING AROUND PUMP ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AT CENTRAL PARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the City's Public Works <br />Superintendent and the City Engineer that fencing be provided around pump <br />electrical equipment at Central Park to protect equipment from vandalism; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the cost of providing fencing around the pump electrical <br />equipment was not provided for in the Central Park well and irrigation project <br />costs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Charter requires the City Council to amend the <br />budget where a major item is not budgeted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes the construction of <br />a barrier safety fence around the pump electrical system at Central Park. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Council hereby approves of Budget Amendment #4 <br />to the 1984 City Budget Park Fund 215, Activity 2150, Line Item 1512 in the <br />amount of $650.00. <br /> <br /> 3) That it is directed the City Accounting Department be furnished <br />a copy of this and take appropriate action. <br /> <br /> 4) That it is further directed that the Public Works Superintendent <br />be furnished a copy to assure that said fence is installed. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and <br /> Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the lOth day of July, 1984. <br /> <br />ATTEST: / / 7 ., Mayor <br /> <br />I~eby ~knowledge receipt of this resolution: <br /> <br /> City ~countant ~ ' <br /> <br /> <br />
