Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #84-120 RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT FOR CENTRAL PARK WHEREAS, Resolution #84-4, Amendment #1 to the City's 1984 Annual Budget, established $2,100 in Park Fund 215, Line Item 1512 for the purchase of creative play equipment for Central Park; and WHEREAS, there has been a recent price increase in creative park equipment from $2,100 to $2,275 ($175 increase); and WHEREAS, Section 7.08 of the City Charter requires Council authori- zation by resolution to amend the City Budget. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The Ramsey City Council hereby approves of Amendment #2 to the City's 1984 Annual Budget Park Fund 215, Line Item 1512 to increase expenditure allocation from $2,100 to $2,275 for creative park equipment. 2) That the budget amendment #2 to City's 1984 Annual Budget is designated as enclosure #1 to this resolution and accordingly will be filed with said document. 3) That it is further directed that the following action be taken: a) That the City Administrator execute the purchase order for the purchase of creative play equipment for Central Park. b) That the City Accounting Department be furnished a copy of Resolution #84-120 with enclosure #1 in order to take appro- priate action to amend the City's 1984 Annual Budget. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schluter and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 10th day of July, 1984. ~--~.i~m'~n i~ ~ r a t o r'/C 1 e rk ''~ ...... acknowledge receipt of this resolution: City/AccoUntant ~
