Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-123 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING FEASIBILITY STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct bicycle lanes on the follow- <br />ing MSA streets: <br /> <br />a) Variolite Street N.W. from 161st Avenue N.W. to 173rd <br />Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />b) 153rd Avenue N.W. from Nowthen Blvd. N.W. to St. Francis <br />Blvd. N.W. <br /> <br />and the cost of this improvement will be born by MSA funds. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the proposed improvement is hereby referred to Mr. Peter R. <br />Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. consulting engineers for study, <br />and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed <br />advising the Council as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as <br />to whether it should be made in connection with some other improvement and the <br />estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter and <br />Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 10th day of July, 1984. <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br />~'~ ~t~y?'A~m'~s~ r a t or / c 1 e r k <br /> <br /> <br />
