Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION 4~84-136 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTIAL PAYMENT TO HARDRIVES, INC. WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council, City of Ramsey, adopted Resolution ~84-105 awarding the bid for the following street improvements: ~84-Z - Rolling Green Addition ~84-11 - Magnesium Street NW to Hardrives, Inc. on June 12, 1984 in the amount of $55,646.00; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc. has recommended partial payment in his letter dated July 13, 1984 for the following street projects in the following amounts: ~84-Z - Rolling Green Addition ~84-11 - Magnesium Street NW $34,080.81 $ 5,5Z1.40 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council, City of Ramsey, hereby authorizes partial payment to Hardrives, Inc. as per the City Engineer's letter dated July 13, 1984, for the following street projects in the following amounts: ~84-Z - Rolling Green Addition ~84-11 - Magnesium Street NW $34,080.81 $ 5,521.40 Z) That the Ramsey City Council, City of Ramsey, hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator/Clerk to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution ~84-137 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on July 24, 1984, approving payment of the bills for the month of July. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Schlueter, Sorteberg and Reimann and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the Z4th day of July, 1984.
