Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-150 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO SIGN APPLICATION FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR <br />CONTINUING EDUCATION OF PEACE OFFICERS AND CONSTABLES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota State Laws which provide for re- <br />imbursement of peace officers and constables; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota Board of Peace Officers Standards <br />or Training requires that the City Council designate by Council resolution <br />the City official eligible to sign the application for reimbursement for <br />the continuing education of peace officers and constables. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Administrator/Clerk Lloyd G. Schnelle is hereby <br />authorized to sign the stated application for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Schlueter <br />and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey <br />City Council this the 14th day of August, 1984. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
