Councilmember Reimann introduced <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~84-154 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED AGSESSMENT <br /> #84-4) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Ramsey City <br />Council on August 14, 1984, the City Administrator/Clerk was <br />directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the <br />sealcoating improvement of the following streets: <br /> <br />County State Aid Highway No. 5 service <br />road between the line of County State Aid <br />Highway No. 5 on the southeast and County <br />State Aid Highway No. 5 on the northwest. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City Administrator/Clerk has notified <br />the Ramsey City Council that such proposed assessment has been <br />completed and filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 25th day of <br />September, 1S84, in the Ramsey Municipal Center at 7:00 P.M. to <br />pass upon such assessment and at such time and place all persons <br />owning property affected by such improvement will be given an <br />opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby directed to <br />cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be <br />published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior <br />to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost <br />of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be <br />given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment <br />roll not ].ess than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Schlueter and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 14th day of August, 1984. <br /> <br />y i ni st rat or/C 1 erk ...... <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
