Gouncilmember Reimar~n introduced the following resolution and <br />~loved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-158 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (Greenland Hills <br />Plat #2 #84-6) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Ramsey City <br />Council on August 14, 1984, the City Administrator/Clerk was <br />directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of the <br />sealcoating improvement of the following streets: <br /> <br />1) 151st Lane N.W. between Chameleon Street <br />N.W. and Alpaca Street N.W. <br /> <br />2) 152nd Lane N.W. between the line of County <br />Road #83 (Armstrong Blvd. N.W.) to the east <br />plat boundary of Greenland Hills Plat #2. <br /> <br />3) Chameleon Street N.W. between 151st Lane <br />N.W. and 152nd Lane N.W. <br /> <br />4) Alpaca Stret N.W. from 151st Lane N.W. north <br />to its end at the cul-de-sac. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City Administrator/Clerk has notified <br />the Ra~sey City Council that such proposed assessment has been <br />completed and filed in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) A hearing shall be held on the 25th day of <br />September, 1984, in the Ra~sey Municipal Center at 7:00 P.M. to <br />pass upon such assessment and at such time and place ail persons <br />owning property affected by such improvement will be give~ an <br />opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Administrator/Clerk is hereby directed to <br />cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be <br />published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior <br />to the hearing, and he shall state in the notice the total cost <br />of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be <br />given to the owner of each parcel described in the assess~ent <br />roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearings. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilme~bers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Schlueter and Reimann <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
