Counci lmer~ber Reimann introduced <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-171 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION <br />OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <Magnesium Street #84-11) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a contract has been let (costs have been <br />determined) for the tarvia surfacing improvement of the following <br /> <br />-- Magnesium Street N.W. beginning at County Road <br />#116 (Industry Avenue N.W.) and continuing north <br />to a point 280 feet beyond the north section line <br />of Section 35. <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $13, 151.92, and <br />the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such <br />improvement amount to $5,665.24 so that the total cost of the <br />improvement will be $18,817. 16. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the portion of the cost of such improvement to <br />be paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ --- and the <br />portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property <br />owners is declared to be $18,817.16. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk, with the <br />assistance of the City Engineer, Mr. Peter R. Raatikka of <br />Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc., shall forthwith calculate the <br />proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement <br />against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the <br />district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided <br />by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in <br />his office for pubic inspection. <br /> <br />completion <br />thereof. <br /> <br /> 3) That the City Administrator/Clerk shall upon the <br />of such proposed assessment notify the City Council <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, <br />Schlueter and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
