Cour, c i lmember Sorteberg <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-175 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br />DEVELOPMENT PLANNER <br /> <br />HIRING OF THE URBAN ECONOMIC <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Ramsey, <br />County, State of Minnesota approved of creat lng the <br />position of Urban Economic Development Planner; arid <br /> <br />Anoka <br />staff <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has advertised the position <br />in the Minneapolis Star and Tribune Sunday paper and the City's <br />official newspaper the Anoka Union; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Selection Committee interviewed <br />candidates on August ~1, 1984; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Selection Committee unanimously <br />sub, its Anne L. Norris as their recommended candidate to fill the <br />position of Urban Economic Development Planner. Further submit <br />to Council the proposed resolution for their adoption in the <br />hiring of Ar, ne L. Norris. <br /> <br />NOW THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> That the City of Ramsey hire Anne L. Norris for the <br />position of Urban Economic Development Planner with the following <br />req u i r ement s: <br /> <br />a) Effective date of employment - This is hereby <br />established as Sept~mbe~ 26~ 1984. <br /> <br />b) Probationary Period - The probationary period <br />will be in accordance with the City Code which <br />will be for a period of six (6) months expiring <br />~a~cb 28, 1985. . Prior to the expiration of <br />Anne L. Norris probationary status, the City Ad- <br />ministrator will make a report to the Council Per- <br />sonnel Committee on her work performance. The <br />Council Personnel Committee will make their recom- <br />mendation to the Council who will either approve <br />by motion her satisfactorily completing the pro- <br />bationary period/extend it/terminate employment. <br /> <br />c) Salary Schedule - The following salary <br />schedule is hereby established for Anne L.
