Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-200 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT (Brookview Estates #84-15) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as <br />required by law, the IRamsey City Council has met and heard and <br />passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for the <br />sealcoating improvement of the follc~ing streets: <br /> <br />1) 169th Avenue N.W. between State Highway No. <br />47 and Neon Street N.W. <br /> <br />2) 170th Lane N.W. between Neon Street N.W. and <br />Germanium Street N.W. <br /> <br />3) 173rd Avenue N.W. beginning at Germanium <br />Street N.W. and extending east to its end at the <br />cul-de-sac. <br /> <br />4) Neon Street N.W. between 169th Avenue N.W. and <br />170th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />5) Helium Street N.W. between the south plat <br />boundary of Brookview Estates and 170th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />6) Germanium Street N.W. beginning at 170th Lane <br />N.W. and extending north to its end at the cul-de- <br />sac. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is <br />attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and <br />shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />therein, and each tract of land therein included in hereby found <br />to be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the <br />assessment levied against it. <br /> <br /> 2) Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual <br />installments extending over a period of ten years, the first of <br />the installments to be payable on or before the first Monday in <br />January, 1985 and shall bear interest at the rate of 11.0 per <br />cent annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment <br />resolution. To the first installment shall be added interest on <br />the entire assessment from the date of this resolution until <br />December 31, 1985. To each subsequent installment when due shall <br />be added interest for one year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br /> 3) The owner of any property so assessed may, at any <br />time prior to certification of the assessment to the county <br /> <br /> <br />
