Mayor Gamec introduced the following resolution and moved for its adopti on: RESOLUTION %84-203 WHEREAS, the City Council has received an application dated June 13, 1984 by Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. for a conditional use permit to construct and operate a solid waste disposal facility on certain property within the City of Ramsey; and WHEREAS, said conditional use permit was applied for pursuant to Ramsey City Code Section 170.016; and WHEREAS, the procedural requirements according to City Code Section 170.016 have now been completed; and WHEREAS, the City Council directed Staff to prepare findings of fact relating to the said conditional use permit application, which findings the City Council reviewed at its September 25, 1985 meeting. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNT~, STATE CF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the findings of fact numbers 1 through 36, as presented and reviewed by the Council which are entitled "FINDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY ON THE APPLICATION OF WASTE MANAGEMENT OF MINNESOTA, INC. FOR A OONDITIONAL USE PERMIT" are hereby adopted. 2) That based on the above described findings of fact, the Council concludes that the proposed use does not comply with the requirements of City Code Sections 170.016D through 170.016F, and accordingly, denies the application of Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc. for a conditional use permit to construct and operate a solid waste disposal facility on that certain real property legally described in Paragraph 1 of the City Council's findings of fact. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Schlueter and Sorteberg and the following voted against the same: None and the following was absent: Councilmember Reimann
