Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adopti on: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-219 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR ARCON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY (PROJECT #84-12 <br />AND 884-18 TRUNK SANITARY SEWER) <br /> <br /> WHEREAg, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted this resolu- <br />tion approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Resolution #84-41 adopted March 12, 1984 for River's <br />Bend (formerly First Guarantee property) for municipal <br />utilities and municipal trunk facilities. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution <br />#84-191 awarding the bid to Arcon Construction Company for the construction of <br />Trunk Sanitary Sewer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, <br />Inc. recommended partial payment in his letter dated October 17, 1984 to Arcon <br />Construction Company in the amount of $75,104.62. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes <br />partial payment to Arcon Construction Company for Trunk Sanitary Sewe in the <br />amount of $75,104.62. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the <br />Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. <br /> <br /> 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in <br />Resolution #84-222 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on October 23, 1984 that <br />approved payment of the bills for the month of October. <br /> <br /> 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed <br />copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Reimann and Sorteberg <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter <br /> <br /> <br />
