Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the follc~in9 resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #84-220 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR H & S ASPHALT COMPANY (STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS #84-20 AND #84-21) WHERE/~, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted this resolu- tion approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: Resolution #84-139 adopted August 14, 1984 for bicycle lanes and overlay on 153rd Avenue NW and Variolite Street MW, AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #84-205 awarding the bid to H & S Asphalt Company for bicycle lanes and overlay on 153rd Avenue MW and Variolite Street NW; and WHEREA~, City Engineer Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. recommended partial payment in his letter dated October 17, 1984 to H & S Asphalt Company in the amount of $114,768.05. NC~ ~f{EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY ~lqE CITY COUNCIL OF ~lqE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes partial payment to H & S Asphalt Company for construction of Street Improvement Projects #84-20 and #84-21 for bicycle lanes and overlay to 153rd Avenue NW and Variolite Street NW in the amount of $114,768.05. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #84-222 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on October 9.3, 1984 that approved payment of the bills for the month of October. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg, Reimann and Schlueter and the follc~ing voted against the same: None
