Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #84-231 RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAY FOR BERGEP~ON (I~SWW~.~., INC. (PRO3ECT 984-13 MUNI- CIPAL ~.L NO. 1) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted the following resolution approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: Resolution 984-41 adopted March 12, 1984 for River's Bend (formerly First Guarantee property) for municipal utilities and municipal trunk facilities. AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution 984-147 awarding the bid to Bergerson Caswell, Inc. for the construction of Mun- icipal Well No. 1); and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc., recommended partial payment in his letter dated 5%vember 19, 1984 to Bergerson Caswell, Inc. in the amount of $19,655.70. NOW ~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY ~/~E CITY OOUNCIL OF ~E CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, S~TE OF MINNESOta%, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes final payment to Bergerson Caswell, Inc. for Municipal Well No. 1 in the amount of $19,655.70. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this final payment. 3) That the total amount of this final payment is not included in Resolution #84-235 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on November 27, 1984, approving payment of the bills for the month of November. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Reimann and Sorteberg and the following voted against the same: Councilmember Schlueter
