Councilmember Van Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #84-232 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAY FOR H & S ASPHALT COMPANY (STREET IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECTS #84-20 AND #84-21) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted the following <br />resolution approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Resolution #84-139 adopted August 14, 1984 for bicycle <br />lanes and overlay on 153rd Avenue NW and Variolite Street <br />NW. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution <br />#84-205 awarding the bid to H & S Asphalt Company for bicycle lanes and overlay <br />on 153rd Avenue NW and Variolite Street NW. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc., <br />recommended partial payment in his letter dated November 19, 1984 to H & S <br />Asphalt Company in the amount of $15,745.84. <br /> <br />NUN THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~E CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, S~t~TE OF MINNESO~, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) ~hat the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes <br />final payment to H & S Asphalt Company for construction of Street Improvement <br />Projects #84-20 and #84-21 for bicycle lanes and overlay on 153rd Avenue NW and <br />Variolite Street NW in the amount of $15,745.84. <br /> <br /> 2) ~hat the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the <br />Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this final payment. <br /> <br /> 3) That the total amount of this final payment is not included in <br />Resolution #84-235 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on November 27, 1984, <br />approving payment of the bills for the month of November. <br /> <br /> 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed <br />copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Van Wagner, Sorteberg and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />Councilmember Schlueter <br /> <br /> <br />
