Councilmember R~-imann introduced the following resolution and <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #85-27 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT FUNDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Title 1 of the Housing and Community <br />Development Act of 1974, as amended, provides for a program of <br />Community Development Block Grants; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Cities of Ham Lake and Ramsey have joined <br />eighteen (18) other municipalities in order to qualify Anoka <br />County as an Urban County; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this designation has entitled the Cities of <br />Ramsey and Ham Lake to receive Community Development Block Grant <br />Funds for 1984 through 1986; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has uncommitted funds from <br />its 1984 Community Development Block Grant allocation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ham Lake is in the process of <br />developing an industrial park. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSE¥, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) To temporarily assign $20,000.00 of its uncommitted <br />1984 Community Development Block Grant Funds to the City of Ham <br />Lake for aid in the development of an industrial park. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City of Ham Lake will reciprocate by <br />designating a like amount of Community Development Block Grant <br />Funds to the City of Ramsey for funding year 1985. <br /> <br /> 3) That the exchange of Community Development Block <br />Grant Funds shall be processed through the Anoka Community <br />Development office. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Schlueter and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Schlueter, <br />Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />Resolution 985-27 <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
