NOTICE OF SALE $705,000 General Obligation Refunding Improvement Bonds, Series 1985 Exhibit A City of Ramsey Anoka County, Minnesota NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for the purchase of the above bonds will be received until I1:00 a.m. C.T. on Wednesday, February 27, 1985 in the office of the City Clerk-Treasurer, City Hall, Ramsey, Minnesota, at which time the bids will be opened and tabulated for consideration by the City Council at a meeting at 7:30 p.m. C.T. on the same day. Dated March 1, 1985, the bonds will mature on April 1 in the years and amounts as follows: Y EAR AMOUNT YEAR AMOUNT 1986 $ 95,000 1990 $105,000 1987 90,000 1991 105,000 1988 105,000 1992 105,000 1989 100,000 Bonds maturing after April 1, 1991 are subject to prior redemption on said date and any interest payment date thereafter. Interest will be payable on October 1, 1985, and semiannually thereafter. The bonds will be issued in fully registered form. No rate of interest nor the net effective average rate of the issue may exceed the maximum rate of interest permitted by law on the day of sale. Minimum price, $694,000. An unqualified legal opinion will be furnished by LeFevere, Lefler, Kennedy, O'Brien & Drawz, a Professional Association, Minneapolis, Minnesota. The purpose of the bonds is to provide funds to refund in advance of maturity certain general obligation improvement bonds of the City. Bidders should be aware that the Official Notice of Sale to be published in the Official Statement for the bonds may contain additional bidding terms and information relative to the issue. In the event of a variance between statements in this Notice of Sale and said Official Notice of Sale, the provisions of the latter shall be those to be complied with.
