Councilmember Sorteberg introduced the following resolution and <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #85-66 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Michael Kovar, hereinafter "Developer" has applied <br />for plat approval of the following described property located in <br />the City of Ramsey to wit: <br /> That part of Lots 4 and 5, Auditor's Subdivision No. 31, <br /> according to the map or plat thereof on file and of re- <br /> cord in the office of the County Recorder in and for <br /> Anoka County, Minnesota AND that part of the Southwest <br /> quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 27, Township <br /> 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as fol- <br /> lows: Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Lot 4; <br /> thence Northwesterly along the Southwesterly line of said <br /> Lot 4 and the northerly right-of-way line of U.S. High- <br /> ways No. 10, 52, and 169 as now monumented, a distance of <br /> 675 feet to the actual point of beginning of the tract of <br /> land hereby described; thence continuing Northwesterly a- <br /> along said Southwesterly line of Lots 4 and 5 and said <br /> 5brtherly right-of-way line, a distance of 739.23 feet, <br /> more or less, to its intersection with a point on said <br /> Northerly right-of-way line distant 743.38 feet South- <br /> easterly as measured along said Northerly right-of-way <br /> line from the West line of the Southwest quarter of the <br /> Southwest quarter of said Section 27; thence Northerly <br /> and parallel with the West line of the Southwest quarter <br /> of the Southwest quarter of Section 27 and its extension <br /> Southerly a distance of 355.61 feet, more or less, to its <br /> intersection with the Southerly right-of-way line of Bur- <br /> lington Northern, Inc.; thence Southeasterly along said <br /> Southerly right-of-way line and the Northeasterly line of <br /> Lots 5 and 4, a distance of 875.75 feet, more or less, to <br /> its intersection with a line projected Northeasterly from <br /> the actual point of beginning, said line makes an angle <br /> of 88 degrees, 00 minutes in the Northwest quadrant with <br /> the Southwesterly line of said Lot 4 at the actual begin- <br /> ning; thence Southwesterly along last mentioned line a <br /> distance of 335.91 feet, more or less, to the actual <br /> point of beginning. <br />which plat is to be known as Kovar Addition, hereinafter known as <br />Kovar Addition, hereinafter "Plat;" and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City's Planning Commission, pursuant to Chapter <br />170.03 held a public hearing on the proposed plat on February 19, <br />1985, which hearing was duly published in the City's legal <br />newspaper and written notice of the hearing was given pursuant to <br />law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting on <br />March 5, 1985 recommended the City grant preliminary approval for <br /> <br /> <br />
