Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #85-70 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR A & K CONSTRUCTION, INC. (Project #84-13 Pumphouse No. 1) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted the following resolution approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: Resolution #84-41 adopted March 12, 1984 for River's Bend (formerly First Guaranty Property) for municipal utilities and municipal trunk facilities. and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #84-213 awarding the bid to A & K Construction, Inc. for the construction of Pumphouse No. 1; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc. recommended partial payment in his letter dated March 18, 1985, A & K Construction, Inc. in the amount of $44,759.63. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes partial payment to A & K Construction, Inc. for Pumphouse No. 1 in the amount of $44,759.63. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #85-67 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on March 26, 1985, approving payment of the bills for the month of March. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
