Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution <br />and moved for its adoption.' <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 985-91 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON ~HE PROPOSED <br />ESTABLISHMENT BY THE CITY OF DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT <br />NO. 1 AND THE PROPOSED ADOPTION OF THE DEVELOPMENT <br /> PROGRAM R~ATING THERETO AND THE PROPOSED ESTAB- <br />LISHMENT OF TAX INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 1 <br /> AND THE PROPOSED ADOPTION OF A TAX INCREMENT FI- <br /> NANCING PLAN RELATING THERETO <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA (DUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Ramsey City Council shall meet on Tuesday, July <br />9, 1985, at approximately 7:30 p.m., to hold a public hearing on <br />the following matters: (a) the proposed establishment of the <br />City's Development District No. 1; (b) the proposed adoption of <br />the Development Program relating thereto; (c) the proposed <br />establishment of Tax Increment Financing District No. 1 therein; <br />and (d) the proposed adoption of a Tax Increment Financing Plan <br />relating thereto, all pursuant to and in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 472A, as amended and Minnesota <br />Statutes, Sections 273.71 to 273.78, inclusive, as amended. <br /> <br /> 2. That the City Administrator is authorized and directed <br />to cause notice of the hearing, substantially in the form <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A, to be given as required by law, to <br />place a copy of the proposed Development Program and Tax <br />Increment Financing Plan on file in the Administrator's office at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center and to make such copy available for <br />inspection bythepublic no later than June 17, 1985. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Cox and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Reimann, Cox, Schlueter and <br />Sorteberg <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council this the 28th day ~ ~ay, 1985. <br /> <br /> Mayor ~ <br /> <br />n"~-" A lnis~a~tor-/cl~rk - ~ .... <br /> <br /> <br />
