Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution <br />and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 985-96 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR ARCON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br />(Project #84-12 AND 984-18 Trunk Sanitary Sewer) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />the following resolution approving the following project in the <br />City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Resolution 984-41 adopted March 12, 1984 for <br />River's Bend (formerly First Guarantee property <br />for municipal utilities and municipal trunk <br />facilities. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted <br />Resolution 984-191 awarding the bid to Arcon Construction Company <br />for the construction of Trunk Sanitary Sewer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson <br />Anderson, Inc. recommended partial payment in his letter dated <br />May 20, 1985, Arcon Construction Company in the amount of <br />$116,352.73. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA (DUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby <br />authorizes partial payment to Arcon Construction Company for <br />Trunk Sanitary Sewer in theamountof $116,352.73. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby <br />authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release <br />form forthispartialpayment. <br /> <br /> 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is <br />not included in Resolution 985-100 adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council on May 30, 1985, approving payment of the bills for <br />the month ~May. <br /> <br /> 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be <br />provided a signed copy of this resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Reimann and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Reimann, Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Schlueter <br /> <br />Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
