Councilmember Reimann introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION 985-97 RESOLUTION APPROVING PARTIAL PAY FOR A & K CONSTRUCTION, INC. (PROJEC~ #84-13 PUMPHOUSE NO. 1) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted the following resolution approving the following project in the City of Ramsey: Resolution #84-41 adopted March 12, 1984 for River's Bend (formerly First Guaranty Property) for municipal utilities and municipal trunk facilities AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopted Resolution #84-213 awarding the bid to A & K Construction, Inc. for the construction of Pumphouse No. 1; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Mr. Peter Raatikka of Hakanson Anderson, Inc., recommended partial payment in his letter dated May 20, 1985 to A & K Construction, Inc. in the amount of $4,641.69. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA O0UNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes partial payment to A & K Construction, Inc. for Pumphouse No. 1 in the amount of $4,641.69. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this partial payment. 3) That the total amount of this partial payment is not included in Resolution #85-100 adopted by the Ramsey City Council on May 30, 1985, approving payment of the bills for the month ~May. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be ~ovided a si~ed ~ ~ thisre~l~ion. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mayor Heitman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Reimann, Cox, Schlueter and Sorteberg and the following voted against the same: None Page I of 2
