Councilmember Schlueter introduced the following resolution and <br />moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #85-113 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE BUDGET AMENDMENT #85-1 WITHIN THE PARK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has been informed that <br />Waste Management, Inc. will charge the City of Ramsey for all <br />garbage it receives frcm the City atthe landfill; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey prior to this has never <br />been charged by Waste Management, Inc. for garbage it delivered <br />to the landfill; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there was not any funds provided by the 1985 <br />Park Budget in line item 215-4520-43084 Refuse Collection; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is requested that Council approve of the <br />following budget amendment within Park Fund: Decrease Park <br />Fund Line Item 215-4520-43115 by the amount $300.00 and Increase <br />Park Fund Line Item 215- 4520-43084 by the amount of $300.00 <br />as required in accordance with Sections 7.07 and 7.08 of <br />the City Charter. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOVA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the transfer of funds within the Park Fund <br />Line items is hereby approved as follows: <br /> <br />Decrease Park Fund Line Item 215-4520-43115 <br />by the amount of $300.00 and Increase Park <br />Fund Line Item 215-4520-43084 by the amount of <br />$3OO.0O <br /> <br /> 2) That it is directed that the Accounting Department <br />be furnished a copy of said resolution and that appropriate <br />entries be made to reflect this change to the City's 1985 Park <br />Budget. Further, it is requested that the Public Works <br />Superintendent be furnished a copy of this resolution for his <br />records. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Mayor Heitman and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Schlueter, Cox, Sorteberg <br />and Reimann <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
