Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #85-13~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET SYSTEM 5-YEAR <br />CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM fOR RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has a population greater <br />than 5,000 and is eligible to receive Municipal State Aid Funds; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Municipal Screening Committee passed a <br />directive requiring each municipality to submit a 5-year <br />construction program by January 1, 1983 and update the program at <br />3-year intervals; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer has received a memorandum <br />from Mr. Gordan M. Fay, Director of State Aid requesting that all <br />state aid municipalities update their 5-year construction program <br />by August 15, 1985; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer has met with the Director of <br />Technical Services and the Director of Public Works to review the <br />5-year construction program; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Engineer presented the updated 5-year <br />construction program to the City Council on July 29, 1985. <br /> <br />NUN THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA O0UNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) The City Council has been presented the 5-year <br />municipal state construction program by the City Engineer and <br />approves of the program. <br /> <br /> 2) The City Engineer is directed to submit the program <br />along with this resolution to the District State Aid Engineer by <br />August 15, 1985. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Schlueter, <br />Reimann and Cox <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by <br />the Ramsey City Council thy the 13th day of A~gust, 1985. ~ ~ <br /> <br /> <br />
