Councilmember Cox introduced the following resolution and moved <br />for its adoution: <br /> <br />RESCLUTION 985-150 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION <br />OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT (Whispering Pines #3 ~85-5) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been <br />determined for the sealcoating improvement of the following <br />streets: <br /> 1) 157th Lane N.W. between Ferret Street N.W. <br /> and Kangaroo Street N.W. <br /> <br />2) 158th Avenue N.W. between Hedgehog Street N.W. <br />and Kangaroo Street N.W. <br /> <br />3) 158th Lane N.W. between Armstrong Blvd. N.W. <br />(County Road #83) west to its end at the cul-de- <br />sac. <br /> <br />4) Eland Street N.W. between 158th Lane N.W. <br />south to its end. <br /> <br />5) Ferret Street N.W. between 157th Lane N.W. <br />and 158th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />6) Hedgehog Street N.W. between the north plat <br />boundary and the south plat boundary of Whispering <br />Pines Estates Plat 3. <br /> <br />7) Kangaroo Street N.W. between 157th Lane N.W. <br /> and 158th Lane N.W. <br /> <br />and the contract price for such improvement is $9,230.24 and the <br />expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such <br />improvement amount to $1,622.13 so that the total cost of the <br />improvement will be $10,852.37. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF RAMSEY, <br />ANOKA (DUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as foll~s: <br /> <br /> 1) The portion of the cost of such improvement to be <br />paid by the City is hereby declared to be $ and the portion <br />of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is <br />declared to be $10,852.37. <br /> <br /> 2) That the City Administrator/Clerk, with the <br />assistance of the City Engineer of Hakanson Anderson Associates, <br />Inc. shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially <br />assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece <br />or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to <br />cash valuation, as provided by law and he shall file a copy of <br />such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. <br /> <br />Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
